This is the new Simulation Dashboard! Dashboard is still in development – so drop me an email or comment if you find any issues or have suggestions for improvements.
The dashboard lets you visualize and drill down into the simulation results with a level of detail that could not be captured in the static “Daily Forecast” charts.
If dashboard shows “Error” reload the page and it should populate correctly.
How to Use:
- Select a matchup from the “Choose Games” dropdown menu. Dashboard has nothing to visualize if no matchups are selected.
- The main chart shows results from 10k simulations. You can change which variables you are looking at by using the “View Dataset” dropdown.
- You can apply filters to any of the output variables, and see how the distributions change – apply multiple filters and build a “Single Game Parlay”.
- The “Implied Fair Odds” will dynamically update as filters are applied corresponds to what the Simulation’s view of true “Even Money” odds – IE 50% outcomes will have “Implied Fair Odds” of +100 and not -110.
- As sample size goes down, sampling error can increase, so this is not ideal for pricing extreme long shots, IE 10:1 or greater odds.
- Use the “Full Screen” button at the bottom left for best experience.
